Pikiran kita ingin berpikir, merencanakan, membandingkan, mengevaluasi &#8211; itulah sifatnya. Itulah mengapa meditasi tidak berarti tidak memiliki pikiran lagi. Pikiran itu seperti ombak di permukaan danau, kita tidak bisa mematikannya, mereka adalah bagian dari danau. Tetapi ketika pikiran berkumpul, ketika air menjadi jernih dan tenang, kita dapat melihat ke dasar. Dengan memperlambat aliran rangsangan dan pikiran yang terus menerus, ruang dan keheningan akan tercipta. Pernapasan kita menjadi lebih tenang, persepsi kita menjadi lebih jernih.
